I was born in New Jersey and was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. I moved to Florida at the age of 2 years old, and raised a beautiful family. I’m a proud mother of 1 beautiful queen and 2 handsome kings, and I have 5 grandchildren, 3 queens and 2 kings and love them dearly.

I was raised in church all my life since I can remember, my mom was an evangelist, my father an Elder. In 2019 I decided to move to the state of New York and became part of a ministry that I loved dearly, however being a part of that ministry, came with a lot of religious and judgmental spirits when it came to dress code.

For some reason some people think wearing a long skirt or dress means you are so holy and saved, when in fact sometimes they are some of the most hypocritical people. Please don’t wear anything short to the knees or form fitting (sweater dress) you are going straight to hell, funny right.

One Sunday morning I was getting dressed for church and I asked my husband what did he think about this particular dress I was wearing, was it to short, and immediately he said, “stop worrying about what people think, I like it and you look sexy” and boom, sexy and saved came to life.

Why can’t you be sexy AND saved, but you can. Just because you wear a dress to your knees, a dress with a split, or sweater dress doesn’t mean you are not saved and love GOD. Whether you are small, big, short, tall, voluptuous or petite, you can be beautiful, sexy and saved.

GOD’S word clearly states, “I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are thy works, and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalms 139:14) another translation in (NLT) states, “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex, your workmanship is marvelous, how well I know it.”)

So that tells me I am perfect just the way GOD created me and that is beautiful and sexy. And with that, through strong visual and messaging, I create a platform called Unique apparel because I wanted to show women of faith that no matter their color or size to feel beautiful, bold and secure in who they are knowing that GOD create a masterpiece!
